Workshops and Classes:

The Making of Monotheism
Explore the development of monotheism, beginning with the early Egyptian experiments of Akhenaton and moving on to the ancient Hebrews before and after the fall of Jerusalem.

Learn about the early polytheism of the Hebrews and the gradual appearance of the Yahweh-alone party in ancient Israel, this party’s construction of a monotheistic belief structure and texts supporting its position, and its eventual elimination of polytheism.

Discuss the impact of these developments on modern Western religion. All information is derived from the work of renowned biblical scholars and historians and is thoroughly documented.

This is stuff you never learned in Sunday School.

Scheduling a Workshop
This workshop is an hour to an hour and a half, which works well for festivals, conferences, and other gatherings. Workshops can also be adapted for half-day, full-day, and weekend intensives.
